In February 1997 Dipl. Ing. Hans Jörg Rathjen founded the Ingenieurbüro Rathjen * IBR. The company objective was the creation of technical documents, calculations and constructions in the field of apparatus and plant engineering.
From 1999/2000, the focus of activity has increasingly shifted to project-related construction supervision, construction auditing and order tracking. This is primarily due to demand from customers in North America and Asia. Here the owner has a special relationship with these regions.
After 2005, the business activities were transferred to the project-related construction supervision, construction inspection and order tracking. The preparation of technical documents, calculations and constructions in the field of apparatus and plant construction takes place only in an advisory capacity.
The number of persons to carry out the tasks in northern Germany and Scandinavia has been expanded so that extensive sub-projects in this region can be processed.
